Feedback

Feedback is how you teach Pulse what matters to you. Every thumbs up or thumbs down adjusts your persona tag profiles, which directly affects what appears in future digests.

Giving feedback

In the daily digest — both in email and on the web — each item has:

  • Thumbs up — this was relevant and useful
  • Thumbs down — this was not relevant or not useful

You can give feedback directly from the email (linked buttons) or from the web app at pulse.oikon.ai/digest.

How feedback is used

When you thumbs up an item:

  • The tags associated with that article get a small positive weight boost in your persona profile
  • The source’s affinity score for your persona increases slightly

When you thumbs down an item:

  • Those tags get a small negative weight adjustment
  • The source’s affinity score for that persona decreases slightly

Over time, these adjustments compound: sources and topics you consistently find useful rise to the top, while irrelevant content fades.

App feedback

If you have general feedback about Pulse itself — bugs, feature requests, or suggestions — use the Send Feedback button in the app’s sidebar. This sends a message directly to the Pulse team.
